Congratulations Andrea for receiving a Highly Commended Award in the Explorers Against Extinction, Junior Sketch for Survival 2024! 🌿🎨 We are beyond proud of Andrea’s dedication and passion that have led to this incredible achievement.
Out of 5,340 young artists from 19 countries, Andrea’s artwork was selected alongside 31 other students—what an accomplishment! 🌍✨ The competition, which showcases artwork raising awareness about species extinction and biodiversity projects, has recognized Andrea’s hard work and creativity, and her efforts will contribute to a great cause as her artwork will be displayed and auctioned at London's gallery@oxo to support wildlife conservation worldwide.
For four months, Andrea worked on her masterpiece, despite her doubts. After scrapping her initial work, she bravely started over. Andrea couldn't believe that she had finally made the highly commended list, and was grateful that the judges had chosen her work. Her love for animals was the key motivator behind her participation. Encouraged by her art teacher and motivated by her parents, Andrea seized this opportunity, using her talent to highlight the critical issue of endangered species.
Looking ahead, Andrea’s dreams extend far beyond just this competition. She hopes that through her art, she can continue to raise awareness and inspire others to take action in protecting endangered animals. We can’t wait to see the positive impact she will continue to make in the future.
