We are excited to celebrate the outstanding achievements of Elaine, Justin, and Hojeong, our dedicated Grade 10 students, who have recently triumphed in two prestigious online mathematics competitions.
On October 28, 2023, Elaine and Justin participated in the Eduversal Mathematics Competition (EMC), a national competition designed to showcase the engaging and enjoyable aspects of mathematics. Justin secured a gold medal, while Elaine earned a commendable bronze medal. This competition serves as a testament to their dedication and perseverance in honing their mathematical skills.
Furthering their journey, our students participated in the International Math Challenge (IMC) competition held on November 17, 2023. This international competition fosters a love for learning and challenges students to excel in both mathematics and critical thinking. Recognizing the challenges posed by the pandemic, the IMC adopted an online format to maintain student motivation and engagement.
In IMC 2023, Justin and Hojeong displayed exceptional talent, each securing a well-deserved gold medal. Elaine, showcasing remarkable progress, achieved a silver medal, highlighting her commitment to continuous improvement. Their success is a direct result of their diligent efforts, as evidenced by their consistent practice with past competition papers.
The dedication and perseverance of these students are truly commendable. Their commitment to practice and keep on learning played a significant role in their success.
